Headquartered in Chicago with branch locations in Kansas City and Minneapolis, PSC Group has been helping clients maximize profitability by improving the delivery of services and enhancing their overall customer experience for 17 years.  We are currently seeking a highly-skilled Lead Architect to work with our extended team primarily focused on the development of web applications and portal-based solutions.

Description:

This position includes solution architecture, team leadership, and channel relationship management.  Working experience with IBM’s WebSphere Portal product line is a must as well as the ability to lead client discovery through technical deployment.  The ability to professionally interact with PSC clients and prospects on both a business and technical level is imperative.  The incumbent will have extensive knowledge with J2EE and other IBM technologies.

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

·   Provide timely and effective billable services to clients.

·   Advanced troubleshooting of IBM platform issues and other related environments

·   Work closely with the PSC team and the Business Development Mangers to ensure successful delivery on client engagements

·   Maintain knowledge and related certifications of new emerging technologies.

·   Arranges work schedule to maximize customer satisfaction as it relates to onsite and      offsite projects.

Required Qualifications:

·         Minimum five years of practical IT consulting experience

·         Application architecture, development and project management, analysis, design, WebSphere development, administration and implementation, J2EE, WebSphere Portal 6.0 (Certifications are a plus)

·         Exposure to large corporate networks and the troubleshooting required to support this type of environment

·         Hands on experience with automated build solutions on major hardware platforms (HP, IBM, Dell)

Prior consulting experience is a plus and must be willing to travel up to 100% at times
